San’s Mask (Princess Mononoke)

Description

This mask is inspired by that of San in the animated film Princess Mononoke.

It was sculpted with a “wood” texture to create a realistic rendering, then casted in resin from a silicone mold to capture all the details. The resin is directly dark brown mass-dyed, then the mask is handpainted. Three metal rings are attached inside the mask: one to hang it on a wall, and two on the sides if you want to convert it into a wearable mask.

It is possible to buy the mask alone or with the ears. The ears are supplied with a fixing system for M6 screws (diameter 6mm).
